Blue Dome Churches
A simple search for Santorini on the web would fill your screen with innumerable pictures of churches with the characteristic blue domes. Although a couple of them are the most visited by those who come to the island, there is an abundance of them scattered all around the island especially in the Caldera.
Oia village
Situated in the northern part of the island, the village of Oia is synonymous to Santorini itself. Every year, millions of people come from all over the world to admire one of the world’s most renowned sunsets. Nevertheless, Oia is not just a sunset spot. A visitor of Oia could admire the breathtaking view of the Caldera, roam around the traditional cobblestone paths, enjoy a fine-dining meal or go shopping in one of the boutiques and jewellery shops of it.
Fira
Fira is the capital of the island. Fira has something for every visitor. Fancy restaurants as well as affordable take away food where you can taste traditional Santorinian food or cuisines from around the world . Cafes, bars and big clubs for an unforgettable nightlife. Clothes and jewellery shops for unlimited shopping. Big hotels or smaller apartments to choose whatever accommodates your needs.
Sunset
Due to its volcanic history, Santorini mostly has black sand beaches. They are all situated in the east coast of the island. The two most famous are Perivolos/Perissa and Kamari, both of them combining swimming with dinning and shopping as there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. In Perivolos, there are also some of the most famous beach bars on the island. Apart from the black sand beaches, there are two unique ones, a red-sand and a white sand beach both situated near Akrotiri. They can both be admired through one of our catamaran cruises.
