Private catamaran small group cruise in Santorini with BBQ meal and drinks

Santorini private catamaran cruise. Travelling on a spacious, modern catamaran is always one of the best ways to spend your morning or afternoon time in Santorini! This 40-foot brand- new vessel features large indoor and outdoor spaces, so that you can enjoy moments of full privacy and relaxation!

Morning cruise starts from the picturesque little port Ammoudi, which is located just below Oia village. Ammoudi is well known for the typical Cycladic architecture and there you can also find some of the best fish restaurants on the island. First stop is at the Hot Springs of the Volcano to experience a healing bath at the sulfurous, warm waters. That Volcano is still active (last eruption happened at 1950 AD) and the waters in the bay of Agios Nikolaos are full of minerals and have a temperature of  30⁰C and 35⁰C (86⁰ and 95⁰ F). We stop there for approximately 40 minutes, which is a very good time to fully enjoy the scenery.

Then, we head towards the southern part of Santorini and we sail by the Lighthouse of Akrotiri village. Very close to Akrotiri, you have the chance to admire an impressive rock formation called Indian by the locals. As it happens with the majority of Santorini’s materials, this rock has also been formed by the continuous volcanic activities of the past. The boat now anchors at White Beach, where you can swim in the crystal-clear waters, do snorkelling or enjoy the sun on the decks of the catamaran.

Next, we stop at the famous Red Beach, where you can also swim and take pictures of that fascinating landscape. Red beach is one of the most well-knows monuments in Greece and it’s a classic spot offering the ideal background for a great photo shot! At that time, our chef prepares a delicious BBQ meal consisting of Greek salad, shrimp saganaki, grilled chicken and pork, roasted vegetables, pasta with red sauce, stuffed vine leaves. Free bar is open for our guests with Santorinian white wine, beers, soft drinks and waters.We can also offer vegetarian menu if that fits better to your preferences. As an extra option at the cost of 400 Euros we offer the “Sea treasures menu” consisting of fresh fish, lobster, squid and a bottle of Delamonte Brut Champagne.

The morning cruise ends at Vlihada marina, which is located on the southern part of Santorini. Our coaches will take you to your hotels or villas.

The sunset cruise makes exactly the same spots, but it follows the opposite direction, i.e. Vlihada, Red Beach, White Beach, Hot Springs of the Volcano and Ammoudi port. Just after the Hot Springs stop, our vessels will stop in the middle of the sea, just below Oia village, so that you can admire the world-famous sunset. Apart from the idyllic view of the sun in the sea, make sure to capture the red colours of Ammoudi and Oia houses, just at sunset time…
