We just launched our new wine tasting session at MySantorini.com. With 1-hour duration, it takes places within an underground cave in Fira square.  You can try 4 different Santorinian wines, learn about the traditional wine making techniques and get a lot of information by our enologist!

Germanwings is extending its flights from Cologne, in order to cover interesting european destinations starting by three new connections the coming summer. Taking into account the high tourism traffic of European destinations, like Santorini, German Wings has also included other new destinations, like Madrid and Copenhagen.

Starting from May 2010 Germanwings will fly to Santorini once a week (every Saturday) by an Airbus A319.

Especially for travelers, safety in emergencies is the other side of the coin of the single market and the freedoms it offers.

The Directive further detailed requirements concerning 112:

• Free of charge: Member States must ensure that users of fixed and mobile telephones, including payphones, are able to call 112 free of charge.

• No discrimination: 112 calls must be appropriately answered and handled, irrespective of whether 112 or other national emergency numbers are dialed.

• Caller location: Member States must also ensure that emergency services are able to establish the location of the person calling 112. The ability to locate the caller in case of an emergency may be of great significance in a situation where the person is unable to state his or her location, which can happen particularly when calling from mobile phones or while travelling abroad.

This telephone number is also accessible for travelers that are in Santorini – Greece and are in a kind of emergency.

A fantastic villa in Pyrgos Santorini with magnificent view and remarkable facilities. Villa Fabrica is set in an old factory and can be split into two totally separate and private villas, or hired as a whole.

Villa Fabrica has large outdoor spaces with two impressive pool terraces and various other alfresco arrangements.  The floors were painstakingly created by a local craftsman, who mixed colors and cement to create the beautiful matte finish floors throughout.
Pyrgos is the highest point in the middle of Santorini and the villa is located just underneath the historically important Castle of Pyrgos.

The last month of our organized tours is here. So, for this period of time and the rest of November 2009 you can book the Volcano and Hot Springs tour at 11:00 – 14:00.
The tour starts from the old port of Fira at 11:00 and you visit the Volcano for 1 ½ hours and swim at the Hot Springs for 50 minutes. It’s a classic tour for those who want to visit the famous Volcano of Santorini and feel the beneficial effects of Hot Springs.

This tour is also ideal for those that come to Santorini with a cruise ship and have just few hours on the island.

Every day at 11:00 – 14:00  Price: 20€ (per person)

We will keep the private land tour with mini van (5 hours) and you can make reservations by submitting your request at the booking form.
