 Having a boat tour by a beautiful sailboat, you will hike up to the crater of the volcano, swim at the Hot Springs and the Red Beach and then enjoy a delightful Barbeque on board full of traditional recipes and local wine!
Information The tour starts from the Old Port of Fira and from Athinios port. Our first stop will be on the volcano, where we will walk towards the crater to see the rock formations. The guide will always be with you ready to answer all questions regarding the history of Santorini and the effects of the Volcano and in the life of inhabitants. We continue to Palea Kameni (the smaller volcano), where we will stop for swimming at the sulphurous Hot Springs. Sulphur comes out of the sea-bottom and the waters become very warm (temperature reaches 104F / 40oC!). We now move to the lighthouse of Akrotiri to admire Indianos rock and many other impressive volcanic rocks in a variety of colours. We reach the Red Beach and this is going to be our second stop for a 45-minute swimming. Famous for its colourful scenery, this is actually the only beach in Santorini featuring red little stones instead of sand. After such an activity, you will probably need to renew your energy! Our chef makes Barbeque on board and the menu contains: Souvlaki, burger, sausage, rice, roasted potatoes, Greek salad, white eggplant salad, desert and white wine.
