The shipping company GA Ferries was established in 1988 by Gerasimos Agoudimos. Since then, the company has put all its effort to expand with the purchase of new vessels. Today, it owns 7 ferries and 1 speed boat. The itineraries cover many Greek islands in the Dodecanese, the Cyclades, the Sporades and the Eastern Aegean. The company also organizes itineraries to remote islands of the Aegean in the context of its social activity. Thus, it makes sure that the permanent inhabitants and the visitors to even the remotest Greek islands can have a comfortable and direct trip.
Among the priority efforts of the company is to provide their passengers with a comfortable trip. That is why vessels have many facilities, including restaurants, bars, discos and playgrounds for the children. Our well-educated crew is happy to help you on board and to solve any question you may have.
› Policy :
- Passengers and vehicles must be at the port at least one hour before the departure time.
- Tickets are valid only for the trip and the class they have been issued for.
- Open date tickets are valid for six months. Before the trip, the open tickets must be confirmed by the travel agency or the central offices of the company.
- Tickets cannot be cancelled by phone, but they have to be delivered to the travel agency.
- The luggage must be put in special designed areas on the ship. Luggage must not contain money or valuables.
- The company does its best to keep the exact dates and hours of the itinerary. However, the company preserves the right to change the itineraries if necessary or to substitute the scheduled vessel.
- Our vessels have special cabins for people with special needs. However, as these cabins are limited, passengers are required to book early.
- Our vessels have special designed areas for pets. Pets are not allowed to enter common areas of the ships. While on board, pets must wear a muzzle and a leash and they must always be accompanied. Their owners are the sole responsible for the hygiene and the safety of their pets and must have their valid hygiene papers.
- If you lose any personal item during the trip, you are requested to refer it to the Ship Reception. Otherwise, you can contact the Central Offices of the Company.
